Job Summary
A company is looking for an Insurance Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform carrier and commission reconciliations (monthly and quarterly)
- Review and validate commission statements against AMS360/BenefitPoint
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable related to carriers and vendors
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of accounting experience
- Insurance agency/carrier accounting experience
- Billing experience with Commercial/Personal and Health benefits
- Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivots, reconciliation logic)
- Ability to manage recurring deadlines
