Insurance Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

To support timely and accurate reimbursement processes, the full-time Insurance Accounts Receivable Specialist will perform entry-level insurance billing, submit claims, review denials, and follow up on outstanding balances in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform billing-related tasks, including data entry, claim review, and accounts receivable follow-up
• Resolve entry-level insurance denials related to medical records, eligibility, and coordination of benefits
• Utilize billing systems and training materials to determine actions for resolving unpaid or underpaid claims

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a customer service or healthcare setting preferred
• Basic knowledge of medical facility layout and department functions (training provided)
• Dependability and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
