Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Insurance Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage insurance accounts receivable for Ambulatory Surgical Centers and Clinics, focusing on follow-up, denial resolution, and appeal submissions to support financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Work assigned insurance accounts receivable with accuracy and efficiency
• Proactively follow up on outstanding claims and insurance denials for timely resolution
• Research, prepare, and submit insurance appeals, tracking their progress and outcomes

Required qualifications

• High school graduate or GED certification
• Solid knowledge of medical billing processes and insurance appeals lifecycle
• Prior experience in healthcare insurance collections, preferably in an ambulatory or clinical setting
• Proficiency with computers and Windows-based software systems
• Minimum internet download speed of 50Mbps for effective remote work
