Job Summary
A company is looking for an AVP, Casualty Claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage claims from first notice of loss through resolution, including coverage analysis and litigation management
- Serve as the first point of contact for new casualty claim notices and conduct intake interviews
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and execute claim resolution strategies
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Excess Casualty and General Liability claims
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or JD preferred
- Strong skills in coverage analysis and claim evaluation
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Must obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire, where applicable
