Job Summary

To support patient access within the Ortho Pass program, the full-time remote Insurance Authorization Coordinator will manage insurance prior authorizations, process referrals, and ensure effective communication between patients and providers.

Key responsibilities
  • Set up processes to obtain insurance prior authorizations and manage incoming referrals
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage logistics for urgent or complex cases
  • Collaborate with operations and clinical teams to identify and resolve workflow barriers
Required qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience processing insurance prior authorization referrals
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and referral management tools
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple patient cases simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Patient-centered approach with a calm and compassionate demeanor
