Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Billing/Collection Assistant III (Remote) - Cardiology.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced follow-up on insurance billing and collection activities to ensure timely payment of physician charges
• Review patient accounts for accuracy and completeness of insurance records and claims
• Make collection calls and contact insurance companies or collection agencies regarding payment issues

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• Three years of experience in billing or insurance
• No specific certification or professional license required
• Associate degree preferred
• Experience with Epic and health insurance billing is beneficial
