Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Billing/Collections Assistant II (Appeals) (Remote) in the Neurology department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform collection follow-up duties on various financial classifications, including commercial insurance and Medicare/Medicaid claims
• Make collection calls to insurance companies and patients to ensure timely payment of claims
• Verify accuracy and completeness of charge tickets and assist with training of co-workers

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• 2 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting or medical collection setting
• No specific certification or professional license required
• A driver's license is not required for this position
