Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Billing/Collection Assistant II (Remote) in the Neurology department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform follow-up on insurance billing and collection activities to ensure timely payment of physician charges
• Review patient accounts for accuracy of insurance information and resolve any discrepancies
• Utilize Epic and other tools for claim submission, status inquiries, and authorization checks

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• 2 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting or medical collection setting
• No specific certification or professional license required
• A driver's license is not required for this position
