Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Billing/Collection Assistant II (Remote) in the Psychiatry department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform follow-up billing and collection duties to ensure timely payment of physician charges
• Verify the accuracy of patient accounts, including insurance and eligibility information
• Utilize Epic and other tools for claim submissions and status inquiries

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• 2 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting or a medical collection setting
• No specific certification or professional license required
• Experience with claims resolution and medical billing preferred
• Familiarity with Epic EHR and health insurance billing practices is advantageous
