Job Summary

Performing advanced follow-up on insurance billing and collection activities, the full-time Insurance Billing Assistant will manage collection calls, verify insurance records, and expedite payments for physician services in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct insurance follow-up billing and collection duties to ensure timely payment of physician charges
• Review patient accounts for accuracy, including insurance eligibility and invoice resolution
• Utilize Epic and other tools for claim submission, status inquiries, and customer service support

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing or insurance
• Proficiency in using Epic and related system tools
• Ability to perform advanced follow-up on billing and collection activities
• No specific certification or professional license required
