Job Summary

Performing insurance follow-up and collection activities, the full-time Insurance Billing Assistant will verify the accuracy of insurance records and claims while working remotely to expedite payments for physician services.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct follow-up on insurance billing and collection to ensure timely payment of physician charges
• Review patient accounts for accuracy in insurance information and resolve any discrepancies
• Utilize Epic and other tools for claim submission, status inquiries, and eligibility verification

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• Two years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or medical collection settings
• No specific certification or professional license required
