Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance/Billing Collection Assistant III (Remote) in the Anesthesiology department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced follow-up on insurance billing and collection activities to ensure timely payment of physician charges
• Review patient accounts for accuracy of insurance information and handle correspondence related to billing
• Make collection calls to insurance companies and support customer service inquiries regarding billing and collections

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• Three years of experience in billing or insurance
• No specific certification or professional license required
• Associate degree preferred
• Experience with claims resolution and medical billing is advantageous
