Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance/Billing Collection Assistant III (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced billing and collection activities to ensure timely payment of physician charges
• Make collection calls and verify the accuracy of claims with insurance companies and collection agencies
• Support training of new staff and assist with special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing or insurance
• Associate degree preferred
• No specific certification or professional license required
• Experience with Epic and health insurance billing is advantageous
