Insurance Billing Collection Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance/Billing Collection Assistant III (Remote) in the Neurology department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced follow-up on insurance billing and collection activities to ensure timely payment of physician charges
• Review patient accounts for accuracy and handle inquiries related to insurance and billing
• Utilize Epic and other tools for claim submissions and status checks, and assist with training new staff

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• 3 years of experience in billing or insurance
• No specific certification or professional license required
• Associate degree preferred
• Experience with claims resolution and medical billing is a plus
