Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Billing/Collection Assistant III (Remote) - Surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a Lead IBC Assistant, training and orientating other IBC Assistants
• Perform collection follow-up duties on specific financial classifications
• Handle discounts, adjustments, and charge corrections

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent high school certification
• Three to five years of previous billing or insurance experience
• Working knowledge of computers, general office equipment, telephone console, medical terminology, collection techniques, and communication skills
• Two years of college or business school
• Dealing with confidential information
