Insurance Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Insurance Billing Specialist will resolve pending claims, address payment issues, and manage account resolution tasks while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and internal quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and resolve claims that are on hold, identifying and addressing underlying issues
• Document findings and actions accurately in the appropriate systems
• Communicate with insurance companies to collect claim status and deposit information

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, deadline-driven environment
• Experience with basic credentialing updates with insurance companies
• Proficiency in using dual monitors and navigating multiple systems simultaneously
• Ability to maintain composure and deliver quality work under pressure
