Insurance Billing Supervisor

Job Summary

Overseeing the insurance billing function, the full-time Insurance Billing Supervisor will manage claims submission, follow-up, and denial management while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, with the possibility of remote work in approved states.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the insurance billing operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in claims processing
• Develop and implement quality assurance initiatives, conducting regular audits and analyzing performance metrics
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle leadership on training and process improvement initiatives to enhance departmental performance

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Three years of experience in medical billing and claims
• One year of supervisory experience
• Knowledge of electronic healthcare payment transactions
• Regulatory knowledge required for various healthcare billing practices
