Insurance Billing Supervisor

Job Summary

Supervising day-to-day operations in a fully remote capacity, the full-time Insurance Billing Supervisor will manage insurance matters, oversee posting and collections functions, and counsel patients on financial assistance options.

Key responsibilities:

• Communicates billing policies and educates staff to enhance the billing process
• Counsels patients regarding financial issues and advises department managers on collection matters
• Participates in employee selection, training, and evaluations while providing coverage during staff absences

Required qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Five years of relevant work experience in insurance billing or collections
• No specific certification or professional license required
