Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting payors and patients
• Document account status and actions taken, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Maintain productivity goals while assisting team members as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate patient accounting applications
• Intermediate knowledge of insurance types, including Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid
• Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute
