Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Claims Specialist HB.

Key Responsibilities

• Submits accurate and timely claims to third party payers
• Resolves claim edits and account errors prior to claim submission
• Contacts third party payers to resolve unpaid claims and ensures compliance with billing regulations

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of medical billing or medical office experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding processes is preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
