Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Claims Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Submit accurate and timely claims to third-party payers
  • Resolve claim edits and account errors prior to submission
  • Contact third-party payers to resolve unpaid claims and assist with denial management
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of medical billing or medical office experience preferred
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to professional billing
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient information
  • Experience in utilizing payer portals for claim status verification
