Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Claims Specialist - HB.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient account balances, ensuring accurate claim submission and compliance with regulations
  • Resolve claim edits and account errors, and follow up with third party payers for timely collections
  • Complete reports and perform clerical duties to support departmental operations
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of medical billing or medical office experience preferred
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to hospital billing
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and operate standard office equipment
  • Understanding of medical terminology is preferred
