Job Summary
Insurance Claims Specialist is a full-time position responsible for managing patient account balances, ensuring accurate claim submission, compliance with regulations, and assisting with denial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Submits accurate and timely claims to third party payers
- Resolves claim edits and account errors prior to claim submission
- Contacts third party payers to resolve unpaid claims
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year medical billing/medical office experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding processes preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality according to policy
