Insurance Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Resolving complex unpaid and denied claims, the full-time Insurance Claims Specialist will leverage proprietary software and client systems to ensure effective claim resolution while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve higher-dollar unpaid/denied claims through phone calls, letters, and accessing various systems
• Identify and report trends in account resolution, including errors and missing charges
• Perform financial account assessments and administrative functions related to billing claims and patient outreach

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in registration, billing, and collections
• 3+ years of experience with insurance carrier claims resolution
• Knowledge of UB04 claim forms, EOBs, and medical records
• ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding knowledge
