Insurance Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Managing patient account balances, the full-time Insurance Claims Specialist will submit accurate claims, ensure compliance with billing regulations, and assist with denial management, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Submits accurate and timely claims to third party payers
• Resolves claim edits and account errors prior to claim submission
• Contacts third party payers to resolve unpaid claims

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year medical billing or medical office experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding processes is preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient information
