Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Insurance Collections Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting third-party payors and patients
• Document account status and actions taken in the patient accounting system
• Maintain productivity goals while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

Required Qualifications and Education

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate various system applications
• Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute
• Understanding of the revenue cycle process and insurance collections
