Insurance Collections Specialist

Job Summary

To support a mission-driven organization, the full-time Insurance Collections Specialist will manage the collection of outstanding account receivables, resolve billing discrepancies, and reduce accounts receivable delinquency while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service regarding collection issues and resolve insurance discrepancies
• Utilize payor portals and other tools to complete Accounts Receivable tasks and document actions with insurance companies
• Monitor assigned accounts and initiate appeals for various insurance payers as needed

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
• Three to five years of high-volume collections experience
• Accounts Receivable knowledge or experience preferred
