Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Insurance Collector.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with insurance companies to determine the cause of denial or non-payment of claims
• Initiate actions required to prepare and submit documentation for claim resolution
• Follow up to ensure payment or exhaustion of recourse while maintaining records in accordance with company policies

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience in healthcare revenue cycle, focusing on insurance billing and collections
• Advanced knowledge of healthcare insurance environments and reimbursement methodologies
• Understanding of medical terminology and basic anatomy
• Ability to work from home with a suitable workspace and high-speed internet
