Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Counselor II (ROPS).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct telephonic patient insurance education and support within compliance parameters
• Identify and communicate opportunities to improve patients' insurance status and alleviate financial burdens
• Act as a liaison to resolve patient insurance issues and maintain relationships with field partners

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of one year of experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare organization preferred
• Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
• Bilingual/Spanish speaking required
