Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Insurance Credit Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve patient and insurance credit balance refunds
  • Research and address unapplied cash activity accounts
  • Document requests or concerns related to patient accounts
Required Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent (GED) required
  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
  • One year of experience in insurance billing/insurance follow-up for Medicare, Medicaid, or commercial payers required
  • Experience analyzing explanations of benefits (EOBs) from various insurance companies
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT / ICD-10 coding preferred
