Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote Insurance Credit Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve patient and insurance credit balance refunds
- Research and address unapplied cash activity accounts
- Document requests or concerns related to patient accounts
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED) required
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
- One year of experience in insurance billing/insurance follow-up for Medicare, Medicaid, or commercial payers required
- Experience analyzing explanations of benefits (EOBs) from various insurance companies
- Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT / ICD-10 coding preferred
