Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal

Job Summary

Seeking a highly organized professional, the full-time Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal will independently manage litigation support responsibilities in a fast-paced remote environment, supporting attorneys throughout all phases of insurance defense litigation.

Key responsibilities

• Support attorneys in all phases of insurance defense litigation, from case inception through trial preparation
• Draft, review, and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence while managing litigation calendars and deadlines
• Organize and maintain case files, coordinate discovery materials, and assist with depositions, mediations, and trial preparation

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of insurance defense litigation paralegal experience preferred
• Prior experience in a law firm handling civil or insurance defense litigation
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures from case inception through trial
• Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and other litigation documents
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
