Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Follow Up Representative.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contact insurance companies to secure and expedite payments through follow-up and appeals resolution processes
  • Act as a functional leader or reference source in insurance billing and follow-up
  • Provide communication link between the organization, patients, insurance companies, and service providers

Required Qualifications:
  • Two years post high school education or AA degree preferred
  • Related health care or insurance industry experience
  • Knowledge of Federal and State billing requirements preferred
  • Minimum two years of patient accounting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration can substitute for experience
