Insurance Follow Up Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Follow Up Representative, Remote in PST or MST.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact insurance carriers and patients to obtain payment on outstanding claims
• Investigate and resolve denied claims, identifying trends and payer behaviors
• Prepare documentation for appeals and ensure accurate setup of accounts in the system

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in insurance follow-up
• 2+ years of working knowledge of EOB, COB, Remits, and CMS 1500
• 2+ years of experience in appeal writing and processing
• Working knowledge of CPT & Diagnosis Coding, Medical Terminology, and basic Anatomy
