Insurance Follow Up Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Follow Up Representative, remote in PST or MST.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact insurance carriers and patients to obtain payment on outstanding claims
• Investigate and resolve denied claims, identifying trends and payer behavior
• Prepare documentation for appeals and ensure proper setup of accounts in the system

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of experience in insurance follow-up
• 1+ years of working knowledge of EOB, COB, Remits, and CMS 1500
• 1+ years of experience in appeal writing and processing
• Knowledge of CPT & Diagnosis Coding, Medical Terminology, and basic Anatomy
