Insurance Follow-Up Representative

Job Summary

To support a growing clinic, the full-time remote Insurance Follow-Up Representative will review insurance denials, verify patient information, and manage claims processing to ensure timely reimbursement.

Key responsibilities

• Review insurance denials and rejections to determine appropriate action steps for resolution
• Verify patient demographic information and insurance eligibility, coordinating benefits as necessary
• Analyze accounts for proper claims processing and communicate trends or issues to management

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of two to three years of experience in medical billing
• Knowledge of physician billing processes, ICD-10, and CPT coding
• Experience with Athena or similar computer systems
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
