Insurance Follow-Up Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Follow Up Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact insurance companies to secure and expedite payments through follow-up and appeals resolution processes
• Act as a functional leader or reference source within the organization
• Serve as a communication link between patients, insurance companies, and departmental staff

Required Qualifications

• Two years post high school education or an AA degree preferred
• Related health care or insurance industry experience
• Knowledge of Federal and State billing requirements preferred
• Minimum two years of patient accounting experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration may substitute for experience
