Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Follow-Up Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed analysis and follow-up on outstanding insurance claims to ensure timely resolution
  • Research and resolve claim denials, rejections, and underpayments by initiating appropriate corrections and appeals
  • Maintain accurate records of account activity and support process improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience with commercial or third-party insurance claims and medical billing/follow-up
  • Understanding of insurance terminology, forms, and coding (CPT & ICD)
  • Experience with EPIC is preferred but not required
  • Certificates, licenses, or Medicare certification are a plus but not required
