Insurance General Manager

Job Summary

To build and scale Dutch's pet insurance business, the full-time remote Insurance General Manager will oversee strategy, launch, growth, and financial performance while managing key insurance partnerships and navigating regulated markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end management of Dutch's pet insurance vertical, including strategy and operations
• Develop the business plan for Dutch Insurance, focusing on revenue models and customer acquisition strategies
• Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure the insurance offering is operationally sound and compliant across all 50 states

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in insurance, consumer fintech, or regulated consumer businesses
• Experience owning a business line or P&L with measurable revenue accountability
• Strong understanding of insurance business models and regulatory considerations
• Proven ability to build and scale a new business or product from early stage to meaningful revenue
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to align various teams and external partners
