• Experience in journalism, preferably in insurance or business reporting
• Strong interviewing skills and confidence in speaking with senior stakeholders
• Proactive approach to chasing contacts and uncovering stories
• Excellent writing skills and a strong sense of news deadlines
• Interest in using AI as a reporting tool to enhance work
