Job Summary

Detail-oriented and proactive, the full-time Insurance Litigation Paralegal will manage insurance litigation claims and appeals, focusing on representing clients in their applications and appeals for life, health, and disability benefits in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Communicate regularly with clients, doctors' offices, and insurance companies via phone and email
  • Obtain necessary documentation to support clients' claims for benefits and assist attorneys with case development
  • Prepare benefit claim forms, draft appeals of denied benefits, and review client case files to determine next steps
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn new software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
