Insurance Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of analysts and specialists, the full-time Insurance Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of Surplus Lines, ensuring accurate invoicing, cash application, and claims processing while driving process improvements and regulatory compliance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and mentor a team of Operations Analysts and Specialists, conducting performance reviews and ensuring high-quality output
• Oversee accounts receivable operations, ensuring timely invoicing and managing cash flow and discrepancies
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and support decision-making with actionable reporting

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing a department or team in an office environment
• At least 5 additional years of relevant professional experience in operations, finance, or insurance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, with strong technical reporting skills
• Experience working with Surplus Lines insurance products
• Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
