Insurance Product Configuration Engineer

Job Summary

Translating complex pricing and product requirements into scalable system behavior, the full-time Insurance Product Configuration Engineer will work remotely to configure, validate, and deliver Life, Health, and Annuity products while collaborating with actuarial, engineering, and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Translate actuarial models and business rules into executable system logic within a product configuration environment
• Configure and support product behavior across Life, Health, and Annuity domains, including premium calculations and benefit structures
• Build and maintain automated validation approaches to ensure reliable, low-regression releases

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of applicable experience in product configuration or related areas
• Demonstrated leadership on mid-large scale projects
• Strong understanding of Life, Health, or Annuity product mechanics
• Experience with SQL, Python, SFTP, APIs, and product configuration or business rules engines
