Insurance Product Development Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing the development and regulatory implementation of new product lines, the full-time Insurance Product Development Manager will manage specialized E&S coverage offerings while collaborating with Underwriting, Legal, and Marketing Departments in a fully remote capacity across the contiguous United States.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the planning, development, and drafting of new insurance products, including coverage language and creative solutions
• Provide day-to-day coverage analysis and consultation to support underwriting and account-management efforts
• Develop and deliver educational content focused on Medmarc's policy forms and coverage terms for internal and external audiences

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; juris doctor (JD) preferred
• Minimum of five years of experience in a casualty insurance environment, including insurance defense or coverage consultation
• CPCU, AIC, or ARM designation highly desired
• Experience analyzing, interpreting, and developing coverage language
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong relationship management skills
