Job Summary
Overseeing the daily workflow of the rating team, the full-time remote Insurance Rating Assistant Manager will manage policy checks for quality control and compliance, provide training for new team members, and ensure timely processing of policies.
Key responsibilities
- Oversees and monitors the workload and performance of the rating team
- Guides team members on technical questions and conducts performance reviews
- Audits policies for compliance and ensures proper documentation of rates and modifications
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency; associate degree in business or related field preferred
- Five years of commercial lines insurance experience, including rating or related experience
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation preferred
- Thorough knowledge of property and casualty underwriting terminology and procedures
