Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reimbursement Specialist to maximize reimbursement by managing insurance claims and appeals.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve aged claims and appeals through payer portals and phone calls
• Prioritize work queues to ensure timely processing of claims and identify non-payment trends
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle teams to investigate denials and propose solutions

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in medical billing, preferably with molecular laboratory billing experience
• Understanding of HIPAA and handling of protected health information (PHI)
• Working knowledge of health insurance and terminology
• Meticulous with strong analytical abilities
