Job Summary

Processing and monitoring unpaid third-party insurance accounts, the full-time Insurance Representative will prepare and submit claims, secure necessary documentation, and perform account follow-ups to ensure proper reimbursement in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit claims to payers, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
• Proactively identify and follow up on outstanding insurance balances to resolve accounts
• Conduct trend analyses and handle appeals for low payment or underpaid accounts

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary courses in accounting or business are helpful
• Six months of related work experience required
• Essential computer skills for processing claims and managing accounts
