Insurance Reviewer II

Job Summary

Responsible for securing payment from third-party payors, the full-time Insurance Reviewer II will handle phone inquiries, process insurance vouchers, and analyze claims while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Handle phone calls and messages specific to designated insurance areas
• Review and process insurance vouchers and rebill charges as necessary
• Analyze and process claims denied through the clearinghouse and ensure correct billing of claims

Required qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required
• Previous experience in a medical billing office required
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-9 coding preferred
• Strong computer, typing, and calculator skills required
