Insurance Reviewer II

Job Summary

Working remotely on a part-time basis, the Insurance Reviewer II will manage phone communications, process insurance vouchers and claims, and analyze billing edits to secure payments from third-party payors.

Key responsibilities

• Handle phone calls and messages related to designated insurance areas
• Review and process insurance vouchers, rebilling charges, and adjustments as needed
• Analyze and process claims and billing edits to ensure accurate payment and registration

Required qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required
• Previous experience in a medical billing office required
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-9 coding preferred
• Computer, typing, and calculator skills required
