Insurance Services Representative

Job Summary

Responsible for the collection and resolution of outstanding insurance receivables, the full-time Insurance Services Representative I will efficiently manage high claim volumes while communicating effectively in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and resolve unpaid, denied, and underpaid insurance claims
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding insurance matters
• Handle a high volume of claims while adhering to Mercy's mission and service standards

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficient computer and keyboarding skills
• Experience with EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing or Ambulatory preferred
• Prior experience in revenue cycle or healthcare billing/insurance
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
