Insurance Specialist

Job Summary

To resolve hospital and physician billing challenges, the full-time Insurance Specialist will work remotely, managing claims inventory, communicating with patients and insurance companies, and ensuring accurate and timely payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reduce outstanding accounts receivable by managing claims inventory
• Gather and verify patient information, including benefits and eligibility from various sources
• Provide excellent customer service regarding billing, claims, and payments

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years of Denials Management experience
• 2+ years of Medical Billing/Follow-up experience
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payors
• Proficiency with PC-based applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
